Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
4 Tbsp. sour milk
1 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. hot water
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Cream together sugar, shortening, eggs and sour milk.
Add flour and other dry ingredients to creamed mixture, then add hot water.
Add bananas. Beat well.
Add vanilla.
Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan in 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 oven until golden brown.
