Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vegetable oil
    3 eggs (unbeaten)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted cake flour
    1 tsp. each: soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice
    1/4 tsp. salt (more if desired)
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. chopped stewed prunes
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Blend sugar and oil.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating between additions.
    Add vanilla, then alternately, the dry ingredients and milk.
    Stir in prunes and nuts.
    Bake in an 11 x 8 x 2-inch pan for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
