Sand Bakkels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 egg yolk
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 stick margarine
    2 Tbsp. half and half
    1/4 (scant) tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar (scant)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0, placing one rack on top of oven and one rack on lower shelf in oven.
    In bowl, cream together sugar, butter and margarine. Add egg yolk, vanilla and half and half. Add dry ingredients, starting with flour.
    Mix well.
    Press dough into sand bakkel tins.
    Bake, placing on lower shelf, for 7 minutes, then top shelf for 2 minutes (9 minutes total).
    Slide off sheet.
    Leave them right side up until cool enough to handle. Pop out of tin with a slightly squeeze.
    Makes about 45 bakkels.
