Ingredients

1 pkg. active dry yeast
1/4 c. water
1 c. milk, scalded
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
4 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. seedless raisins
Preparation

Soften yeast in warm water (110\u00b0).
Combine milk, shortening, sugar and salt.
Cool to lukewarm.
Add softened yeast and eggs. Beat well.
Add flour, sifted with cinnamon and raisins.
Mix to soft dough.
