Salmon Burgers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

16 oz. canned salmon
1/4 c. oil
1/3 c. salmon liquid
1/4 c. parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
6 buttered buns
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. powdered mustard
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
lemon wedges (optional)
Preparation

Drain salmon, reserving 1/3 cup liquid.
Flake.
Cook onion in oil until tender.
Add salmon liquid, 1/3 cup crumbs, eggs, spices and salmon; mix well.
Shape into 6 cakes; roll in crumbs.
Fry in a heavy pan in about 1/8 inch of oil over moderate heat.
Brown on one side.
Turn carefully; brown on other side.
Total cooking time is 5 to 8 minutes.
Drain on paper towel.
Place on buns. Serve with lemon wedges.
