Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. King syrup
    1 egg
    3/4 c. warm water
    1/4 c. warm water, mixed with 1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix until crumbly the flour, brown sugar, butter and oil. Reserve 1/2 cup.
    Add syrup, egg, warm water and water mixed with baking soda.
    Beat mixture until smooth.
    Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top.
    Bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0 and then 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
