Heidi'S Crock-Pot Or Slow Cook Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cut up (or just breasts)
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    salt and pepper
    1 pkg. dry Italian salad dressing mix
    1 c. mushroom soup
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
    1/2 c. sherry
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
Preparation
    Wash chicken; pat dry.
    Brush with butter; salt and pepper. Pour dry salad dressing over it.
    Turn on crock-pot or slow cooker; cook for 5 to 6 hours.
    Forty-five minutes before it's done, mix the cream cheese, wine, onion and soup, in a pot, over low heat; stir until smooth.
    Pour over chicken; cook 30 minutes more.
    Serve over wide egg noodles.
