Cucumber Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. cucumbers (unpeeled)
    2 pt. onions or less
    2 green peppers
    1 red pepper
    1/2 c. salt
    2 qt. boiling water
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 pt. vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Grind the cucumbers, onions and peppers; mix together with the salt and 2 quarts boiling water.
    Let stand for 1 hour; drain well.
    Add spices, vinegar and sugar.
    Boil for 1/2 hour.
    Add a few drops of green food coloring.
    Seal hot.
    Yields 6 to 8 pints.
