Cracker Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, separated
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3 oz. cream cheese
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. sour cream
    14 sq. soda cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks; add sugar, salt, cream cheese and lemon juice. Cook in double boiler, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
    Cool.
    Fold in sour cream and stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Line pan with 1/2 of cracker crumbs.
    Pour in mixture and cover top with remaining crumbs.
    Refrigerate 3 to 4 hours or until firm.
    Serves 6 to 8 people.
