Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 c. flour
2 eggs, separated
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
vanilla wafers
4 to 6 bananas
Preparation

Beat egg yolks and add 1/2 cup milk.
Mix well, then add remainder of milk.
Add milk and egg mixture to dry ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
Put a layer of wafers in baking dish.
Slice bananas on top of wafers and a layer of pudding over bananas.
Continue to layer until all is used.
Beat egg whites until frothy.
Add 1/4 cup sugar and beat until peaks form.
Top pudding.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven 5 to 7 minutes until brown.
