Baked Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. potatoes (9)
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    4 Tbsp. butter *
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    optional toppings: sauteed mushrooms or melted butter with cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Peel and cook potatoes.
    Blend hot potatoes with butter, sour cream, salt and pepper on low speed, then on high speed until light and fluffy.
    Spoon into buttered casserole.
    Bake at
    325\u00b0 for 1 hour, covered.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1/2 hour, uncovered.
