Cracklin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. meal
1 tsp. salt
1 c. cracklin
Preparation

Crumble the cracklin and pour 1/2 cup hot water over them. Add this to the meal.
Use enough hot water to mix into a dough. Let stand about 5 minutes.
If dough is too stiff, add a little more water.
Shape into small pones and put into greased hot pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes according to size of pones.
