Crock-Pot Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

apples, peeled, cored and chopped (to fill crock-pot heaping full; apples shrink as cooked)
4 c. sugar or less
4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
-
Cover and cook on high for 1 hour.
Lower heat and cook all day until thick and dark.
Stir occasionally.
Place in small jars; cool and freeze.
