Old-Tyme Chili Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. Mexican (jalapeno) cornbread
1/2 c. grated cheese
1 (19 oz.) can chili
1/4 c. minced onion
Preparation

Mix cornbread as directed.
Pour batter into an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Heat chili with 1/4 cup water to simmering point, spoon over cornbread batter, sprinkle grated cheese and minced onion over chili.
Bake in 425\u00b0 oven 15 to 18 minutes.
Cornbread will rise above chili mixture.
Serve hot; makes 4 generous servings.
