Mushroom-Macaroni Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni (uncooked)
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimentos, drained
    3/4 c. crushed round buttery crackers
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Bring water and salt to boil in large Dutch oven; stir in macaroni.
    Return to a rapid boil and cook 8 to 10 minutes.
    Drain. Rinse in cold water.
    Drain.
    Combine macaroni, soup, mayonnaise, cheese and mushrooms.
    Add pimentos.
    Spoon into a lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish.
    Combine cracker crumbs and butter. Sprinkle evenly over macaroni mixture.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Yield:
    6 to 8 servings.
