Molasses Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. oleo
    1 c. Brer Rabbit (or Grandma's Molasses)
    2 c. boiling water
    3 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar and oleo into very fine crumbs.
    Set 1 1/2 cups aside to use as topping.
    In large bowl, combine Brer Rabbit, boiling water and baking soda; add the crumbs and mix by hand very well.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with remaining crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
