Rich Party Nut Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. Spry
    6 egg yolks
    1 yeast cake
    2 c. milk
    1 lb. walnuts, coarsely chopped
    3 egg whites
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    pinch of salt
    spices if desired
Preparation
    Soften yeast a little in milk.
    Add remaining milk and beaten egg yolks.
    Mix shortening into flour and salt.
    Add liquid to make a soft dough.
    Chill thoroughly.
    Roll out as pie crust on sugar sprinkled lightly floured board and cut into pieces about 3 x 4-inches.
    Make a paste of the walnuts, egg whites, sugar and salt. Spread onto the dough and make into tiny rolls.
    Place on cookie sheets and bake at 350\u00b0 until lightly brown.
