Ingredients

2 c. drained, canned chickpeas
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. cold water
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 to 2 Tbsp. tahini
2 c. canned chickpeas, drained
2/3 c. tahini paste (ground sesame seed)
3/4 c. lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, mashed
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cumin
parsley (for garnish)
Preparation

Place all ingredients in blender.
Mix until chickpeas are smooth.
Store hummus in covered container in refrigerator. Serve well chilled.
Garnish with chopped parsley.
More garlic may be added, if desired.
Thin with additional lemon juice if served as dip with chips.
