Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
3 chicken bouillon cubes
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Boil chicken breasts for 45 minutes with plenty of water. Remove chicken and add bouillon cubes; stir in cream of chicken soup.
Mix dry ingredients; cut in shortening.
Add milk; mix and put on floured board.
Roll to 1/8-inch thickness, then cut into 1-inch squares.
Drop into pot of boiling broth and cook about 15 minutes.
Cover pan and reduce heat for cooking time.
Cut up chicken and add to dumplings.
