Baked Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large potatoes, baked and cubed
    2/3 c. margarine
    2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    7 c. milk
    4 green onions (optional)
    1 jar bacon bits
    1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 tsp. pepper
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    On medium heat, melt margarine and add flour, stirring until smooth.
    Gradually add milk, stirring until well mixed.
    Add potatoes and green onions; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients except for cheese.
    Sprinkle cheese on top of soup when served.
