Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 small yellow squash (enough to make 1 qt.), sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Cook squash in salt water until tender, drain and mash.
    Add butter, cheese, beaten egg, onion, milk and 3/4 cup cracker crumbs.
    Put into buttered baking dish. Sprinkle rest of cracker crumbs on top.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Serves 6.
