Ham And Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. diced cooked ham (about 1 lb.)
    2 medium onions, chopped (1 c.)
    2 medium potatoes (2 c.)
    2 medium carrots (2/3 c.)
    cabbage
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. water
    1 envelope buttermilk dressing mix
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Saute first 6 ingredients in large skillet until vegetables are tender.
    Add water.
    Bring to boil.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Meanwhile, combine salad dressing mix and milk.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Stir into ham and vegetables.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
    Makes 6 1/2 cups or 6 servings.
