Heavenly Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 (3 oz.) boxes lemon jello
2 c. hot water
1 c. cold water
2 c. miniature marshmallows
2 c. apples, diced
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 eggs
1 c. whipped topping

Preparation

Combine first 7 ingredients.
Allow to set.
Combine sugar, lemon juice and eggs.
Cook over medium heat until thickened.
Add whipped topping and spread over top of first mixture.
