Teriyaki Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. sake or any liquor (can be omitted)
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    1 clove garlic, grated
    1/4 c. onion, grated
Preparation
    Mix ingredients well.
    Marinate meat (chicken, beef or ribs) 1 hour.
    Can be marinated overnight.
    Baste meat with sauce while broiling.
    Yields 1 1/4 cups.
