Maryann Sawyer'S Wassail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. apple cider
    1 c. brown sugar (either light or dark), packed
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate
    1 Tbsp. whole cloves
    1 Tbsp. whole allspice
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
    24 cinnamon sticks for use in cups or use 6 for boiling
Preparation
    Put all but spices in large kettle.
    Tie cloves and allspice in cheesecloth (add cinnamon sticks if you are not going to use individual cinnamon sticks in cups).
    Add nutmeg and spice packet to liquid.
    Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
    Remove bag; serve with individual cinnamon sticks, if desired.
