Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 German chocolate cake mix
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 stick oleo
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Prepare cake mix as directed.
Pour 1/2 of batter into 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 15 minutes.
Melt oleo, caramels and milk; stir.
Pour mixture over cake.
Sprinkle remaining nuts and chocolate chips.
Pour remaining batter over top.
Bake another 20 minutes.
Serve with Cool Whip.
