Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1-1/2 c. hot applesauce
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspices
1 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. dates, chopped or 1 c. raisins

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar, add hot applesauce.
Mix and sift dry ingredients and spices.
Add to the applesauce mixture.
Add nuts and chopped dates or raisins.
Pour into greased pan and bake at 375\u00b0 20-30 minutes.
