Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple in its own juice
    1 (18.25 oz.) box yellow cake mix
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 stick butter, cut into pieces
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish. Dump ingredients in dish in order (cherry pie filling, undrained pineapple, dry cake mix and nuts).
    Smooth after each layer; do not mix.
    Place the butter pieces on top.
    Bake for 1 hour.
    Serve with ice cream.
    Yields 10 to 12 servings.
