Oven Fried Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh or frozen fish fillets or steaks, thawed
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cut fish in 2 or 3 portions, according to size. Dip fish into beaten egg, then into bread crumbs.
    Place coated fish in a well-greased, shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Drizzle a mixture of melted butter or margarine and lemon juice over fish.
    Bake in oven at 400\u00b0 until golden brown. Allow 5 to 6 minutes for each 1/2-inch of thickness.
    Makes 3 servings.
    Freeze leftover portions.
