Sweet Sour Fillets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. flounder fillets
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained (reserve syrup)
    1/2 medium green pepper, cut into thin strips
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 green onions, sliced
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 c. slivered almonds, roasted
Preparation
    Arrange fillets in single layer.
    Cover with plastic wrap. Cook in microwave on High 5 to 7 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    In 1-quart casserole, combine sugar and cornstarch.
    Stir in pineapple juice.
    Add green pepper, vinegar, soy sauce, onions and garlic.
    Cook at High 3 to 4 minutes or until mixture thickens.
    Stir twice.
    Stir in pineapple chunks and almonds.
    Arrange fillets on serving dish. Spoon mixture over fillets.
