Fresh Raspberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raspberries, mashed
    1 c. water
    2 c. raspberries (do not mash)
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
Preparation
    Place mashed raspberries in heavy 2-quart saucepan.
    Add sugar and water.
    Bring to a boil. Thicken with cornstarch.
    Remove from heat. Blend in the raspberries, unmashed.
    Pour into baked pie shell. Top with Cool Whip.
