Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 c. half and half or whipping cream
    1 tsp. each lemon and vanilla flavoring or 2 lemon or 2 vanilla
    3 c. flour (self-rising)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Beat in flour and half and half (alternate).
    Add flavoring.
    Cook in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours.
    Double for two cakes; freeze one for later.
