Buckeyes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 lb. sifted powdered sugar
    1 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
    2 Tbsp. Crisco solid shortening
Preparation
    Mix butter, powdered sugar, peanut butter and vanilla.
    Form into small balls.
    Melt chocolate chips with Crisco.
    (I do it in the microwave.)
    Put toothpick into balls and dip in chocolate to give the appearance of a buckeye.
    Place on waxed paper. Refrigerate to harden.
