Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 c. coarse soft bread crumbs
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes, drained and cut up
Preparation
    Saute onions in margarine until tender.
    Stir in bread crumbs, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Set aside.
    Arrange half of the tomatoes in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Top with half of crumb mixture. Repeat layers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
