"Matriciana"(Pasta With Bacon) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. diced bacon
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 medium cans crushed tomatoes
    4 leaves fresh basil
    pinch of salt
    dash of black pepper
    1 lb. penne or ziti pasta
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, saute onion, olive oil and bacon until golden.
    Add crushed tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper.
    Cook for 15 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
