Heavenly Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix with pudding
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 small pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling
    1 large carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake in a 9 x 13-inch pan, according to box directions. When done, poke holes in cake.
    While cake is cooling, combine pineapple and sugar.
    Boil for 5 minutes.
    Pour over cake while hot.
    Let stand until cool; then prepare pudding mix according to box directions.
    Spread over cake.
    Spread whipped cream topping over this.
    Refrigerate.
