Apple Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. soda
1 cube Parkay
1 egg
1 c. apples, chopped fine
1 c. ground up pecans, or cut up fine
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed in c.
1 c. raisins

Preparation

Cream together Parkay, egg and brown sugar.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture.
Add apples, pecans and raisins by hand.
Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheets.
It is better to let mixture set before baking so apples have a chance to mix, about 15 minutes, then stir good.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
Frost with cream cheese frosting or plain vanilla frosting.
