Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in thin strips
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 large green pepper, cut in thin strips
    4 tomatoes, cut 1/8 or 1 (1 lb.) can whole tomatoes
    1 (1 lb.) can drained bean sprouts
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Brown steak on medium heat slowly.
    Transfer cooking pot to heating base using hot pads.
    Combine ingredients, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, ginger, sugar and soy sauce.
    Pour over steak. Cover; slow cook at setting #3 for 6 to 8 hours or setting #4 for 4 to 5 hours.
