Leila'S Feather Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 tsp. granulated sugar
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. shortening
    melted butter
    1/3 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    4 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine yeast, 2 teaspoons
    sugar and warm water.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Scald milk and add shortening, 1/3 cup sugar and salt. Stir until
    shortening
    is
    melted.
    Beat
    eggs and stir into milk mixture.
    Stir in yeast and 3 cups flour.
    Beat well with a mixer.
    Stir
    in
    remaining
    1
    1/2 cups flour, it will
    be a sticky
    dough.
    Cover
    and
    refrigerate
    overnight. Turn out on a floured
    board
    and shape into crescent, cloverleaf or Parker House rolls.
    Let stand 4 hours, covered with a cloth.
    Brush with melted butter
    and
    bake
    at
    400\u00b0
    for
    10 minutes or until golden brown.
    Makes 36 to 48 rolls.
