Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9-inch baked pie shell
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch (heaping)
    3 Tbsp. strawberry jello
    2 Tbsp. Karo syrup
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
Preparation
    Cook water, sugar, cornstarch, jello and Karo syrup until thickened, then cool.
    Slice or quarter strawberries into a 9-inch baked pie shell.
    Pour cooled, thickened mixture over strawberries.
    Refrigerate.
    Top with Cool Whip when serving. Yield:
    6 servings.
