Quick Brown Sugar Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. half and half or canned evaporated milk
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar, half and half and butter.
Bring to a boil.
Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla. Cool to lukewarm, then beat until creamy and thick enough to spread.
Add cream if it gets too thick.
Great for applesauce or spice cake.
