Heavenly Ambrosia - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
    2 c. boiling water
    2 pkg. (4 oz.) orange gelatin
    2 c. Cool Whip, thawed
    1 c. mandarin oranges, drained
    1 1/2 c. mini marshmallows
    1/2 c. Baker's coconut
    1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained and halved
Preparation
    Drain pineapple.
    Reserve liquid.
    Add cold water to liquid to measure 1 cup.
    Stir boiling water to jello in large bowl.
    Stir until completely dissolved.
    Stir in measured liquid.
    Refrigerate about 1 1/4 hours.
    Stir in Cool Whip with whisk until smooth. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
    Stir in rest of ingredients and chill for about 4 hours.
    Yields 10 servings.
