Gourmet Turkey Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or oleo
2 c. chopped onions
2 c. chopped celery
8 to 12 oz. chopped fresh mushrooms
1 (1 1/2 lb.) loaf Roman Meal bread, toasted and torn in pieces
1 lb. ground chuck, browned and drained
2 well beaten eggs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Lawry's seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 1/2 to 4 1/2 c. chicken broth
3 or 4 tsp. Durkee poultry seasoning
Preparation

Melt butter in skillet.
Saute onions, celery and mushrooms. Pour over torn toasted bread.
Add browned hamburger, eggs, seasonings and chicken broth.
Mix together well.
Stuff turkey or chicken or place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0 until top is brown.
Serves 12.
