Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, sliced thin
1 can Cheddar cheese soup
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 Tbsp. butter
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
6 potatoes, sliced thin
1/2 tsp. sugar
6 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese
Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Brown beef.
Place potatoes and onion in large buttered baking dish.
Add beef.
Mix soup and little milk until smooth and add to meat and potatoes.
Mix together.
Combine tomato sauce, salt, pepper and sugar.
Pour over top of mixture.
Dot with butter. Cover and bake at least 1 1/2 hours, uncovered.
Place cheese on top.
Return to oven until cheese melts, about 15 minutes.
