My Mother'S Rolled Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 c. xxx sugar
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter, sugar, milk and vanilla. Add flour, a little at a time.
    Roll out a small amount of dough at a time to approximately pie crust thickness.
    Cut with cookie cutters.
    Decorate with colored sugars, etc. (or frost after baking).
    Using a greased cookie sheet, bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
