Fruit And Nut Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. margarine
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. Raisin Bran cereal
    1/2 c. date crystals or chopped dried fruit
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    melted butter to brush tops
    cinnamon-sugar to sprinkle
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in margarine. Beat eggs and milk together, then add date crystals to soften. Stir egg mixture into flour mixture; blend well.
    Turn dough onto lightly floured board and pat to 3/4-inch thick.
    Cut into 12 scones; place on greased baking sheet.
    Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
