Okra Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 slices bacon
1 medium onion
1 bell pepper
approximately 12 okra pods
2 medium tomatoes or 1 pt. canned
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. sweet basil
Preparation

Chop bacon and fry until crisp.
Remove from drippings.
Chop onion and pepper and cut okra into 1-inch pieces.
Add to bacon drippings and stir-fry until onion is transparent.
Add seasonings and tomatoes and cook about 5 minutes longer.
