Jeannie And Lela'S Overnight Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce, cut in bite size pieces
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can drained, sliced water chestnuts
1 pkg. frozen peas (tiny)
2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
3 hard-boiled eggs
1 lb. crumbled, cooked bacon
Preparation

In a 9 x 13-inch pan layer:
lettuce, celery, onion, water chestnuts and frozen peas.
Top and seal side to side with Miracle Whip salad dressing.
Do not stir together.
Spread on like you were frosting a cake.
Sprinkle with:
sugar, seasoned salt, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese.
Cover and leave overnight.
Just before serving, top with chopped eggs, and chopped crumbled bacon.
Be sure to drain bacon well after cooking it.
