Sausage With Cabbage, Sweet Potatoes(Makes 4 Servings) - cooking recipe

1 1/2 lb. smoked sausage
1 (13 1/4 oz.) can chicken broth
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 lb. sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
3/4 c. onion, chopped
1 lb. green cabbage, shredded coarse (6 packed c.)
1 large Golden Delicious apple, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
Preparation

Stir chicken broth and mustard in deep 12-inch skillet. Add sweet potatoes and onions. Reduce heat to medium. Cover and cook about 5 minutes until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally. Add smoked sausage and cabbage. Cover and cook 15 minutes longer, stirring once or twice until potatoes are tender and cabbage is crisp-tender. Stir in apples. Cover and simmer 3 minutes until apple is crisp-tender.
