Apple Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. raisins
    6 slices buttered bread
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Peel apples and slice thinly.
    Put into saucepan with water and raisins. Cover and cook 15 minutes until soft.
    Cut bread into fingers and arrange half in a pie dish, buttered side down.
    Cover with apple mixture, then bread butter side up. Top with sugar and spices. Bake 20 minutes.
